STORE HOURS: M-F 10am-6pm SAT 9am-5pm


Thank you for choosing to volunteer at the Habitat for Humanity ReStore! The ReStore could not operate without the generous time and talent given by volunteers! ReStore shifts are available as follows:

* Monday – Friday: 10:00am – 2:00pm, 2:00pm – 6:00pm and 4:00pm – 6:00pm

* Saturdays: 9:00am – 1:00pm and 1:00pm – 5:00pm

All volunteers are required to pass a background check, read our volunteering policy, complete a volunteer orientation (videos found online) and lastly, complete the proper paperwork (paperwork is completed on Volunteer Hub, our online shift scheduling system). There are many different opportunities; check out the options below to see where you fit best!

Please note: select the SENIOR CREW button if you are looking for general volunteer opportunities and do not fit into the other volunteer categories!

Individuals & Senior Crew

Though many of our Senior Crew are retirees, the term itself is defined as any volunteer that gives at least
SC Volsone shift a week (or more!) to the ReStore. Opportunities include donation intake, customer service, Donation Pickup Volunteer, cashier and more (please note: some opportunities require special approval and training)! We welcome individual volunteers.

groupIf you want to teach the value of service to your family, or are looking for an opportunity for your business, we’ve got you covered! The ReStore welcomes groups for in store volunteering, as well as neighborhood canvassing! This is a great opportunity for team team building! Court Ordered Community Service

The ReStore has a great history of offering volunteer shifts to those that need to fulfill court ordered volunteer hours. Court ordered volunteers must comply with the following: Ameriorps

* You may not volunteer if: 

o You are registered with the Wisconsin or National Sex Offender Registry 

o Your offense(s) involved theft or weapons 

o Your offense(s) caused bodily harm 

o Your court ordered requirements restrict your computer usage or contact with minors or other members of the public. Other factors impacting your eligibility to volunteer at the Habitat for Humanity ReStore include (1) frequency of and time elapsed since other offenses; or (2) any other factor that Habitat for Humanity deems relevant to your eligibility as a volunteer at the ReStore. All applications will be reviewed by ReStore management. Applicants will be contact regarding their eligibility to volunteer at the Habitat for Humanity ReStore. 

* Must complete a minimum of 20 hours for service to count as valid 

* Must pass a background check, read and comply with volunteer guidelines and complete an online orientation prior to signing up for shifts.
